This year-long exhibition in the Folklife Gallery supports the project, Champlain Canal Stories, an original documentary series produced by the Folklife Center during 2023 to share stories based on 200 years of activity along the Champlain Canal. The video series will be given free to the public via iPad kiosks at sites along the canal, a mobile phone app driving tour, and YouTube.

Stories, songs, puppets, and movement activities for children ages 3-5 and their caregiver.  Siblings welcome.  No sign up required.  Tuesday story times are held indoors in the Children's Activity Room.

Our popular preschool art program is back! Join us for open-ended art activities for kids ages 3-5.  Your little artist will be introduced to the materials, then work independently and at their own pace.

Learn photography from professional photographers and exhibit your photos in the Library's Folklife Gallery. Canon t6i digital cameras are provided for this free program. For kids ages 10-13 years. Start an early love of reading with our baby story time!  Join us for stories, rhymes, songs, and play time.  Enjoy a special time with your baby and connect with other caregivers.

Join us the week before each concert in the 2023/24 season for a showing of a different film or documentary with inspiring musical stories and sounds. 

Teens can drop in and play Pokemon, Yu Gi Oh! and other card games and meet like-mined gamers! Every last Wednesday of the month is pizza night. Free. 

Learn how to build a book page holiday wreath! Participants will help recycle old books to make something unique and special. Add seasonal cheer to home, office, or give as a great gift. Join us for a fun, creative project to warm up the gray days. Hot cocoa, tea, and light snacks will be provided.
