Take-Home Teddy Bear Picnic

Event Details

Due to the rain expected, we will be following the rain plan for the event. Stop by the Children's Department to pick up a kit of activities to hold your own Teddy Bear Picnic at home. Kits will be available August 19-21.

Additionally, bring your stuffed animal to the library on August 19th for a special teddy-bear photo opportunity!

Join us for a distanced version of our annual event! Drop in between 10 and 11:30 to receive a kit of fun activities and projects to do with your favorite bear! Enjoy music in the park and bring your own picnic if you'd like. At 10:30, listen to special teddy bear stories, and at 11:15 join us for a Teddy Bear Parade around the park!

~~Program is held outdoors; please bring a blanket to sit on and your favorite bear or stuffed animal!~~

Best for kids under age 8. Please register for one spot per family attending. Sign up begins July 26th.

In case of rain, take home kits will be available at the library beginning August 19th.
